New Year, New possibilities. Let’s Embrace 2024 with Enthusiasm, Determination, and Innovation!



As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I am filled with a profound sense of hope and anticipation. The year of 2023 symbolizes a time of recovery, renewal and boundless possibilities with the end of the global pandemic that comes along with the reopening of international borders. This brings with it a sense of hope and opportunity in which we can once again connect, collaborate and explore new horizons together. In 2023, we have seized every opportunity to reconnect with our clients, partners and industry leaders through an array of events and focus on developing new features to meet the evolving needs of our clients in human resource management, food procurement and inventory management. 



Ground-breaking Features Improving Industry Practice



In 2022, we introduced BridgeBuilder HRMS mobile app to enhance employee experience. This app empowers employees to access a wide range of HR-related self-services, from personal profiles editing, daily clocking, leave applications to expense reimbursement, and more. These services are available anytime and anywhere, providing extra convenience and flexibility to users.


Building on this success, in 2023, we have gone a step further by launching more innovative features that support our clients' ESG initiatives and promote a paperless workplace. These new features, including employee onboarding, my letters, e-news, and e-acknowledgment, address the needs of a workforce that can work from “anywhere”. Our upgraded system enhances flexibility, accessibility, and security, while aligning with the demands of the modern business landscape. In China, our long-term client, Louis Vuitton, has decided to deploy our new feature, My Letters, which allows their employees to check and download various kinds of company letters, such as promotion letters and bonus announcement letters, in their personal accounts via our ESS Portal and mobile app on the go. 



Recognized Locally for Outstanding Innovation



With our innovation and improvement, we were honored to receive several recognitions this year, including the  “Most Innovative Human Resource Management System of the Year at the Most Innovative Enterprise Award (MIEA) presented by Business Innovator, the "Best Attendance Automation (Gold Award)" at the HR Vendors of the Year 2023 by Human Resources Online and the “Best HR Vendor of the Year Award (Grand Prize)” at the Best HR Award 2023 organized by CTgoodjobs. These recognitions have further elevated our standing as a leading solution provider in HR management which reinforces our commitment to excellence and innovation. They are also a validation of our exceptional quality and services. 2023 was undoubtedly a year of harvest for us, which boosted our team morale through local recognition of our hard work. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my talented team for their support, contribution and devotion. They have played a crucial role in driving our success and upholding our reputation in the industry. Without their collective expertise, innovation, and hard work, we would not have been able to continuously improve our product, deliver exceptional service to our clients, and push the boundaries of what we can achieve.


From Local to Global: Extending the Reach of our Brand 



With the reopening of international borders, it is exciting to see our team eagerly exploring the dynamic South East Asia markets, particularly in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, to expand the reach of our brand beyond Hong Kong to forge new connections and business opportunities. I am glad to hear our new clients in Taiwan were interested in our award-winning payroll module which assists them in tackling all matters related to compensation and benefits fully complied with Taiwan’s labour law. In order to enhance our support service, we have made the decision to expand our implementation team in Taiwan. This strategic move allows us to strengthen our presence and capabilities in the region. We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and look forward to delivering exceptional service to our clients in Taiwan soon.


On the other hand, we are thrilled to announce that Legendary Hong Kong, renowned as the most authentic Hong Kong restaurant in Singapore, has chosen FOODIVAL as their business partner. This exciting news shows that FOODIVAL is becoming a sought-after choice among our F&B clients, both locally and internationally. We are eager to witness the transformative impact that FOODIVAL will bring to the F&B industry in the near future! 



The Way Forward



As the global economy recovers, I believe that 2024 will be full of new possibilities that we expect to have more interactions with our partners and our clients, and there is no doubt that collaboration is the key in the post-covid era after years of isolation. That’s why we are hoping to organize more seminars and events with our partners to encourage industry exchanges.  Above all, we will also allocate additional resources to research and development in order to explore advanced functionalities of our systems. For instance, e-Learning will be our main focus next year - it allows HR to develop engaging and interactive learning content tailored to the unique needs of their company, departments and employees. Quizzes and exams can also be set up to assess employees’ progress and performance with our user-friendly tools and interface. Appraisal module will be our next. It can supplement the e-Learning function to help HR effectively evaluate employee performance in a more comprehensive manner. Our forthcoming features aim to not only streamline HR processes but also enhance the effectiveness of talent management by cultivating continuous learning and development within organizations. This, in turn, facilitates talent retention as employees can acquire new skills, renew their knowledge, and stay relevant in a rapidly evolving business landscape. These advancements enable HR to evaluate and identify talents with ease, establishing a robust HR foundation for business growth.
