Employee can utilise the Employee Self-Service (ESS) app for clocking in & out. GPS method for those who's nature of work is not in a set location, bluetooth for more precise tracking (e.g. locate different shops within a department store) and facial recognition for an added layer of security to avoid buddy punching.

Real Time Attendance Data
Upon using the app to clock in/out, supervisors and employees can instantly check the record in the backend system. This fosters transparency and communication as supervisors can instantly point out any discrepancies in data, leading to quicker resolutions. Scheduled roster shifts can also be seen next to the attendance data, increasing clarity and accountability.
Abnormal Attendance Inquiry
Allows HR & supervisors to check clock in/out entries that are not according to planned shifts, including viewing by criteria such as "early out," "late in," and specific late times (>30 mins). There are also regular emails generated to inform employees with a abnormal attendance.
This helps HR proactively stay on top of any punctuality issues and keep track of any time owed, and increases transparency of employees' daily work appointment, e.g. If they have an appointment with a client which caused the abnormal attendance, they can record in the system in advance.

Roster Planning
Rosters entry in calendar layout to help supervisors efficiently plan shifts for the next week to month. Auto calculate and display leave owed to each employee (e.g. annual leave, statutory holidays, day off, hours off from OT), helping supervisors allocate shifts to each employee more fairly. The system also automatically complies with 418/468 labour law. This will serve as a reminder to rearrange relevant work schedules or provide additional welfare for those employees.
Roster Shift Templates
Allows supervisors and HR to set up shift templates for employees with a regular working schedule, streamlining the planning process. If adjustments are needed, supervisors can quickly modify the existing templates rather than starting from scratch, making it easier to adapt to changing circumstances.

Staff Borrowing & Cost Allocation
The roster modules especially cater for retail or F&B businesses which may require “staff borrowing”. Managers can assign their team members to work temporarily at another branch. This helps managers accurately track labor costs associated with each location, allowing for precise allocation of expenses based on where employees are working.

OT Compensation
Based on attendance, rostering data, and pre-set rules on OT compensation dependent on company policies, the system can auto-calculate compensation then convert to OT payment or compensation leave without any manual handling required.
Auto-calculate rest days using attendance and rostering data based on company policy, such as the standard 2 days on weekends or more unique policies like 1 rest day for every 4 days worked, to enhance flexibility.
